let the dog roam while staying within the law, but do not depend on

| · Some people just hate retractable pet leashes. They think it is
dangerous to the puppy, the pet's guardian, and passersby. If your
dog runs into the street, you simply can't reel the dog back in. Grabbing
that narrow cord is not very effective and can be very painful or
even injurious. |
